The Sree Narayana Association of Philadelphia is a cultural and community organization dedicated to promoting the teachings and ideals of Sree Narayana Guru. We work to foster unity, spiritual growth, and social welfare among the community in Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
Sree Narayana Guru (1856 - 1928) was a great spiritual leader, philosopher, and social reformer from Kerala, India. We revere Narayana Guru as God's representative.
His famous message "One Caste, One Religion, One God for Man" continues to inspire millions around the world.
Core Teachings:

• Whatever the religion, it is enough if man becomes good
• Progress through education, strength through organization
Dr. S. Omana’s doctoral dissertation is one of the earliest and most important academic works on Sree Narayana Guru. It connects his deep spiritual teachings with his social reforms.
Guru used the idea of oneness to fight the caste system.
Aruvipuram Installation (1888) challenged Brahmin monopoly.
Guru taught that all humans belong to one human caste.
"Freedom through Education, Strength through Organization" was his main message.
Dr. Omana studied books like Atmopadesa Satakam, Darshanamala, and Daiva Dasakam.
Conclusion: Sree Narayana Guru was a "Revolutionary Saint".
